City of Palm Springs 85th Anniversary Celebration

“The enjoyable kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with a stunning common automobile parade identified as ‘Cruising Through the Years’ that can take off along Amado Highway from the Palm Springs Convention Middle to the Downtown Park, featuring a host of area stars, group leaders, and city pioneers driving in 85 vintage motor vehicles from 1938 when the town was to start with incorporated — to the present day!
“Following the parade, the vintage autos will be shown about the For good Marilyn sculpture for all to delight in. Everybody is invited to get a selfie in entrance of the motor vehicle from the year they were being born!

“7 p.m. FINALE: Elton John Tribute Live performance in the Downtown Park. The birthday bash concludes with a rockin’ Elton John Tribute Live performance, introduced by the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce. The Rocket Guy will perform all his finest hits!”
